If you are planning a vacation to New York City, then you can rest assured that you will be able to find a place that suits your style and budget as New York hotels offer a wide range of choices. Love the theater? Then look for lodging in the Theater and Times Square districts where you can still find some good budget motels. Or get a suite at Sofitel between 5th and 6th Aves and enjoy private parking, internet access, concierge, dry cleaning and you can bring your pet along too!

Prefer a view of the park? Then the Central Park South area might be for you where you can find hotels that range from moderately priced small “boutique” style hotels to upscale ones. This area is convenient as it is near the park and close to Midtown as well as the Upper East and West side.

If you want to immerse yourself in culture and shopping, then you want to stay in the downtown area where you can be near distinctive areas such as Soho, Greenwich Village, Tribeca, Chinatown and Little Italy. These areas offer great shopping and fabulous foods as well as a diverse array of hotels.

However, you might want to be sure to check out the amenities before booking your hotel so you can be sure the hotel has what you need be it high speed internet, child friendly accommodations or allowing pets.
